About Insta Grid Editor

Insta Grid Editor is a free carousel editor online, built for one job: turning a photo — or a few photos — into a clean, correctly numbered set of images ready for an Instagram carousel or grid post. No account, no watermark, no upload step.

Why we built it

Most free image splitters we tried had the same problems: numeric-only row and column fields with no visual feedback, support for only one image at a time, and no way to combine several photos into a single carousel. We wanted something that felt like a real editor — drag a ruler line and watch the crop update live, reorder tiles without moving them on the image, add a swipe cue so followers know there's more to see — without any of it requiring a login or a paid plan.

Everything happens in your browser

Insta Grid Editor doesn't have a server that touches your photos. Uploading, cropping, slicing, and exporting all run locally using your browser's own Canvas API. Your images are decoded, sliced, and zipped up for download entirely on your device — nothing is transmitted anywhere in the process. You can read the specifics on our Privacy Policy page.
